Pied-à-Terre is a family business, founded in 2013 by Andrea and Mariela Freile Andrea began her career in private banking for Goldman Sachs in New York. In 2009 she moved to Madrid to get her MBA from IE Business School, and since then she has dedicated herself to the real estate sector. Working with high-net-worth individuals from across the world, and assessing them in their investments, has been the key to the success of Pied-à-Terre since its foundation. Mariela started her career in Hospitality and Tourism in Switzerland; and later she studied Interior Design in London, England. Today she resides in Quito, Ecuador, from where she attends to her clients in different cities of the world, with frequent transfers to Madrid where she carries out all the interior design projects. The company was born by identifying the interest that many Latin Americans have in buying a second home, or making a real estate investment outside their countries to diversify their portfolio, with the least degree of complications that this may imply. As entrepreneurs we have always wanted business opportunities abroad. Our main objective as a company is to offer a 360-degree service to our clients.
